More Outlander Stuff

A few more Outlander-related pictures I neglected to post earlier.

The first is Bakewell Close, located just off Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. Outlander fans will recognize this as the site of Jamie Fraser’s printshop in Edinburgh, where he and Claire are finally reunited after 20 years apart.

The second is on the grounds of Midhope Castle (Lallybroch). Those rocks are the entrance to the cave where Jamie hid out from British soldiers — close enough to Lallybroch where he could visit Jenny and Ian when the coast was clear, and close enough that they could bring him provisions, but hidden to those unfamiliar with the terrain.

The third and fourth pictures are of Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh. Holyrood Palace was used for many of the Parisian scenes in Season 2. Unfortunately, we’re not allowed to take photographs inside, so I can show you only the exterior. The aerial photo is obviously not mine, but I included it to give you a better view of the palace than is possible at ground level.
